
A joint project conceived by award winning architects Milroy Perera and Associates and constructed by Maga Engineering, Clearpoint residencies is the tallest residential vertical garden in the world, with planted terraces circling the entire structure and an inbuilt self-sustaining watering system. guided by its cutting-edge yet holistic design approach, the building features several sustainability features that will substantially reduce the energy and water consumption of its residents, whilst providing a level of comfort and luxury that is truly in harmony with nature. The structure comprises 171 residencies over 46 floors.
Architect's Brief
Provide an environmentally friendly water heating solution for the residences that reduces energy consumption and at the same time is economically viable in terms of capital cost and infrastructure.
During the design phase Rinnai’s Global team of Technical Experts collaborated with all stakeholders to develop a viable solution.
The outcome was that each of the 171 residences has installed one Rinnai Gas Tankless water heater to provide hot water to all fixtures within each apartment.


Approved Solution: Rinnai Gas Tankless
Each apartment was fitted with its own individual Rinnai Tankless Gas Water Heater that could supply hot water to all bathrooms and kitchen outlets at once if needed.
This solution was chosen for the following reasons:
A significant reduction in electrical infrastructure costs for the project
Rinnai Gas Tankless water heating would provide residence owners with the opportunity to significantly reduce running costs.
No energy is used if no hot water is being used.
No Hot water is stored within the apartment freeing up floor space.
Small footprint of the appliance.
Local Service agents to provide assistance if needed.
